I accidentally ordered some mini 4″x4″ canvas panels instead of mini canvases last month. I painted these just for fun a few at a time and they turned out pretty well. Kind of fun art vs fine art. They will be in my etsy store as soon as I get them varnished next week.

I finished these three 4×4 mini pond paintings and will probably list them this week after I varnish them. I’m not sure how much I will list them for yet, but there are more hours in them than you might think.
I kind of like the way they turned out and think they would look very nice on a little easel on an end table or framed as a set on a wall.

I haven’t put any of my larger pond paintings up for sale yet because of my merchandising efforts, so I decided to do some mini 4″X4″ ones for sale in my etsy shop or on instagram. I am working on all three at once in a little row on by drafting table because they are so small and to keep the colors somewhat unified. They are all developing a slightly different palette as I go along, which is nice.

Because I was gone quite a bit in September and October, I ended up doing only one small painting of some mushrooms as well as the Jayden portrait. I went back to the kitchen for a little 7×5 after the larger Idaho landscape. I have a matching canvas to this one, but it will probably have to wait for the Christmas rush to be over before I get to it, as well as some more Idaho landscapes. On the day I was coming home from Boise, I was contacted for a 5 house commission and am currently working on that. Hooray for that.
