Pencil-up
Preliminary watercolo
I forgot to photograph commission five, too, so here is the pencil-up and the initial watercolor wash. This was the hardest one to do. All they had for me were two aerial photos of the actual house and a frontal shot of a similar one that had a courtyard only as wide as the doorway. I had to cobble together a wider entryway with different ladscaping and it wasn’t easy. But she liked it so that is all that matters.
